Does anyone have a rear sight off of a Model 8 or Model 81 Remington that they are willing to part with?

I have a Model 8 that someone modified the rear sight on...I would like to find one in good condition to replace it.

I had won one off of Ebay, but it never showed up, so here I am in need of one once again.

Any help is much appreciated.

That sucks that it never showed up. I've had good luck with gun stuff on eBay. I even bought of couple of stripper clips for my Model 81 (.300 Savage) on there, and I didn't think I'd ever find replacements for those things.

I know you may feel burned by the bad experience, but I'd keep watching eBay if I were you. Rear sights (and other stuff) for the Model 8 and Model 81 show up on there on a pretty regular basis, and you should be OK if you make sure to avoid the loser that burned you the first time.

call ahlmans in morristown mn. I think that is just a standard williams rear sight. maybe a marbles, should be a semi stock item.

http://www.ahlmans.com/ i have a 8 and a 81 in 300 savage and a 81 in 35 rem all three have the pop up tang sights and the 300 savage just has a williams semi buckhorn.
