This afternoon, I took some gallon jugs of water and my bowie knife out to my backyard pistol range.
I set up the jugs so I could practice some step-and-slice moves.
The one pictured here was a forehand swipe, and the end result really blew me away.
I failed to completely sever the jug into two pieces. One little strip of plastic still connected the two halves.....but there was still water in both halves.
Wow....that's one sharp knife...........

Here's another pic of a jug I sliced with the bowie. Yes, it's still full of water, too.

The knife is a bowie by this maker.

It's a father-son operation. Dad makes intricate folders, while son makes big bowies, daggers, and skinners.
Blade is 9.25 inches long.
Overall, the knife is just a shade under 15 inches long.
Somehow, doing this to milk jugs is even more satisfying than shooting them.
Great stress reliever.

You make that sound like an "either/or" proposition. ;) :D

Trapperready, don't get me wrong.
When it comes to dealing out destruction to plastic jugs and bottles full of water, I most certainly do appreciate and celebrate diversity.
