That's purdy. I was thinking of picking one of those up from AIM, but I wonder if their samples are as pristine as this one. If you don't mind my asking, where did you get yours?

You did good on that one! They're actually not very common, since the laminated stock came in after the 91/30 had been wrapped up. AFAIK they are all replacement stocks for the long rifles that remained in the inventory and needed to be refurbished in the 1950's. That one would make an excellent companion to an SKS-45 with a laminated stock and an M-44 with a laminated stock. But the 91/30 laminate is the toughest of those three to find.

Perhaps I should cruise up to AIM and buy another one, if they are fairly rare. And maybe another K31 and another....you get the idea.

They're rated as a "7" on 7.62x54R.net's collecting scale, which makes them quite rare for a Soviet. At those prices I'd grab some more esp. in that good condition.

it goes well with my M44 laminate.now to find a M38 laminate and I will be happy.
