Hi guys,

Here's a few photos of my granddad's LC Smith. Old Mac lied about his age to get into the Army during WWI. This beauty he bought in 1943. I can't wait to get this guy out on the range.

I hope you all enjoy the photos as much as I did taking them.

Beautiful old SXS! I owned one until the lead ban and then foolishly traded it off. Mine wasn't nearly as nice though, almost 0% finish left and a dent in one barrel.

Didn't hurt it a bit though. I still remember one particular double on mallards on a cold cloudy December day.

Hope you enjoy it on the range. I know you will, they are fine pieces.

nice, still got a little case colors on frame. 1943 would have been last years of hunter bros. did grandad replace the stock ?
