Years ago, my father found this flaregun sorting through a burnt down old house. He thought I would like it and brought it home and gave it to me. I cleaned it up and did what I could with it at the time. It sat on a shelf in my room for years and finally found it way to a box and forgotten about. I have always hauled it around with me where ever I go and I doubt I will ever get rid of it. Since I was moving once again and sorting though all my stuff I found it decided to drag it out and see what I could find on the internet about it and share a few pics of this neat old flaregun. The grips are gone, obviously destroyed in the fire, as the screw and nut that keeps them in place is still there. Everything on the gun works except that there is no trigger return spring. It appears to be gone from what I can tell. The only info I could find on it was here (http://www.diggerhistory.info/pages-weapons/signal-pistols.htm). If anyone can tell me anymore about it that would be nice if not just enjoy the pics guys and gals.
