I went to WalMart today to pick up some .22 ammo and the clerk showed me some Remington .45 ACP 230 gr HP ammo.
The bullets are very similar to the Winchester HP's.

This Remington ammo is being sold in 100 rd boxes for $25.17.
I bought a box but haven't had a chance to try it yet.

Has anyone used or tested it? Is it any good?

Yes I bought it and used it on my USP45. Remington also makes it in 9 and 40. They all work fine in my HK. I haven't tested it on people :scrutiny:

I was wondering about the accuracy.

Coincidentally, I just shot a box of these today. I find them plenty accurate for practice ammo. Not sure how they would perform as defensive ammunition though.

If they fly where you are aiming, they should work fine. I've learned that given their diameter and mass. 45's don't necessarily have to open up to perform well.

I've gone through 2 boxes. It was reliable and decently accurate in my Sistema-Colt. I don't carry it but I wanted some JHP in-stock for when the black helicopters come. The Rem JHP fits that bill for me.

Ive used it and its in one of my 45 at present. I belive they will work as good as anybodys else HP which means may or may not open. I don't put a lot of faith in Jell testing.

I sure would like to believe that those Rem. Golden Sabers at more than twice the cost would open up if I need 'em to. :uhoh:
