I once owned a S&W 625-10 (Performance Center .45ACP), but got rid of it because it was made out of Scandium and was too light, as a result it was a punishing piece to shoot. However, I now would like to have a custom piece made that would take advantage of the attributes I liked and add a few more.

The base model would be a S&W 625 .45ACP with a round butt.
Cylinder Length: 1.5"
Barrel Length: 2" in front of frame, with remainder inside frame window (approx. OAL of 3")
Grip Frame: shortened to 2-finger grip
Sights: Front: Big Dot Express, Rear: U-shaped fixed
Action: DAO with bobbed hammer
Trigger: Smooth Combat @ 8-9lbs.
Weight: Approx. 30 oz.
Grip Panels: Black Buffalo Horn

Any ideas on who could make this piece? Possibly Bowen?? Possible cost?

Just a thought:

Buy a 325, replace the Ti cylinder with a stainless one. Swap out the sights with a C&S Extreme set. Buy some nice horn grips from Eagle, and forget about the shortened frame.

Good Luck...
