Hello all,
I got a call this morning from a man that wants to buy my shot.
I did a count and I have four bags of number 8, three bags of #6,
one each of #4, and 7 1/2, all the bags are 25Lbs each.
One of #8s has a price of $11.99 on it, but I don't think I want to let it go that cheap.
So what should I sell these bags for, and what is the going price for lead shot?

Cheapest I've seen locally for MAGNUM shot is $18.50 a bag. Chilled shot would be a buck or two cheaper. If you know the guy, maybe $150 for all? What brand are they and are they all new and unopened?

Our club is paying about $17.50 wholesale for shot right now and selling to members for $18.50. Like SShooterZ said soft would go a buck or two less.

Sportsman Warehouse in colorado who is by far the cheapest on reloading stuff is at 16.99 or 17.99 a bag. (I forget to be honest)
11.99 is way too cheap
i would tell them $18 bucks, that's a deal since it isn't taxed which saves him a buck or so.
it's not like shot goes bad.

Hello all,
I found also two 5Lbs cans of Illinois Copper Plated #4 shot.
These bags are four bags of Lawrence Brand:two #6s, one #7 1/2, and one of #8. One bag of Remington #8. Two Hawk #8. One All American #6. And the last bag is an AA in #4.
Doe's it matter that these are different makes of bags in what I should charge?

Hi Scott,
Last weekend I bought three bags of Lawrence magnum #8.5 shot at Sportsman's Warehouse in Albuquerque for just under $22 per bag. Since #8 shot seems to be a little scare right now, I was glad to get it. $20 per bag for yours would be a bargain for someone if it's magnum shot. The brand shouldn't matter.
