... and wondered what your experiences are with this little jewel. Mine came with a cracked grip, so I'll be keeping my eye out for grips and possibly magazines.

Any thing a new ower should know before heading to the range? Any particular ammo seem to work better than another? Any and all info you care to share is appreciated, as these are semi-rare, and I don't know anyone that has one. Thanks.:)

Just bought a Walther TPH, it's a small .22LR pistol, basically a scaled down PPK. They aren't made anymore.

I've been looking for one(locally) for a while. I saw a lnib one (stainless) for $200 but it was sold by the time I called.:banghead: Don't want to pay the internet price-so I guess I have a long wait ahead.

I paid $370. Has a crack in a grip that I didn't notice:banghead: , but otherwise in very good condition. I usually see them at $425 or more.

For those that don't know much about them go to

to get a primer.

Hi USP,

Good price. I have been looking for about 2 years for the right one. Did you try gunpatrscorp for the grip? I remember they had quite a few for both the .25, and .25 TPH.

I have one that I bought new back in the 1980's. TPHs in general are not fond of high-speed .22 LR, it can cause feeding and reliability problems. Experiment with some standard velocity FMJ or JHP and see what it likes.

MILLCREEK, I hit the range before I read your post. I used high velocity for the first time out, but will try the standard stuff next time as you recommend.

See this thread; http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=186676 for a report on what happened at the range...very strange.

KQ, If you are really looking to own one of these guns I think you would not be disappointed. I was very pleased with the way it handled. I have small to medium hands, so I could grip without getting "slide bite". For those people with large hands, this gun could "bite", as there is not much clearance.

stainless steel American made Interarms .22 TPH. Although I have read numerous negative posts regarding the American version, I have had great reliability and great accuracy with it. I hope to get a German made TPH someday. Functions on all .22 high speed and high velocity ammo I have tried including Rem Thunderbolts, Win Super X, and Win Xpress
Hope you enjoy yours, Regards, Bill
