Beartracker Identified At Last!

For some time I have been trying to learn the true identity of the person known to us as “Beartracker.” Now with the assistance of the U.S. Department of S&S (Search & Snoop) I have, pardon the pun, “tracked him down.” Obviously the “person of interest” in the photograph is clearly he. I mean, who else would be found with (count them) FOUR of Mr. Remington’s latest pattern Army pistols? :what:

Worst of all, those in his hands are capped and loaded!!! And a coffin-handled Bowie knife as well. Who knows what might be tucked away in those knee-high boots he’s wearing??? With him on the loose maybe I’d better go hide under the bed…

And look at that feather-plume in his hat… Can there be any doubt???

Some historians in they’re endless ignorance have identified him as one George Maddox, recently associated with that rebel guerrilla, William Clarke Quantrill and his Command…

But of course we know better… :D

WOW 24 Shots no waiting...This is the guy they emulaste in the B-Westerns 24 shots outa 6 shooter.
Only Question I have is how for sure we know they are all Remingtons. Two we can see really well but just the butts of the other two. Guess I'll leave that to those what know their Remingtons better than I. :what: :neener:

Yeah on closer look them look like Remmy butts OMG look where this is going!:neener:

I probably should have posted a bigger picture, but I didn't want it to take all day too load. Take my word for it that I've looked closely at a larger blow-up, and the other two revolvers appear to be Remingtons.

Besides we all know that Beartracker wouldn't be seen in public without at least 4 of Mr. Remingtons latest pattern Army pistols... :neener:

Or I could post a bigger picture, but some may get to drink a cup of turbo-coffee before it downloads...:uhoh:

The lube, shortening, was used for his hoecakes.

Don't head up too far into the mountains, someone'll try to shoot that thing off your face and eat it. :)

Well, using the shortening in the hoecakes makes more sense than shooting the cornmeal (filler) out of the pistol!

You guy's may think that one ball is not seated as far as the others but there's a reason for it. That cylinder has more powder in and is meant for the person who makes fun of my feather or fantastic looking beard.:neener:

Sir....

I would never be so foolish as to ... ah ... well... make a negative comment about someone's ah... "feather or fantastic looking beard" when that person was known to go about with no less then four of Mr. Remington's latest pattern Army pistols... :what:

Discretion after all, is the better part of valor... ;) :D

I must confess that I had no idea that one of the identifying marks of a blackpowder shooter was the state of lubrication of his balls...

:what: :uhoh: :scrutiny:

A larger blow-up of the original picture is shown below that covers some(?) of Beartracker's weapons. You can see in greater detail the four revolvers and the handle of his Bowie knife.

Warning: it may take some time to load on your computer.
