So can some one help me with this one? The penal code in California says that the issuing agency must notify you in writing with-in 90 days about their decision. What happens when the 90 days passes, and you still hear nothing? Any California folks that can help on tonight?

What it means is, you have choices.

You can continue to wait.

You can write a letter of appeal to the sheriff or police chief in which you assume he's denying you, and asking why.

You have "standing" to sue. A lawsuit over CCW abuse is brewing up soon, you can be a co-plaintiff with no expense on your part. Get back to me in EMail with the county or city you applied with: jmarch@prodigy.net or use the THR private message system.

If you sue, you have a bonus because they've clearly broken the law in your case...it shows "bad faith". We can talk more about that in private if you want.
