Thinking of buying a M1 Carbine and the Thompson is with in Budget. I have no knowledge as to there quality, accuracy or over all performance. Maybe somebody on this board does and can give a review of this Product.

If you can wait a few days, I'll let you know. I bought one last year, it was. shall we say, "citrussy". After an abortive warranty repair that cost me money in shipping, I sent a long and pointed e-mail giving them my "I could be their best friend or their worst enemy" spiel. They responded and are replacing my weaopon on their dime. I have only just learned that it was shipped, so now, I wait.
I have spoken to others who like their weapon, but mine, as of now, is a non-starter.

How about Parts, Stamped or Machined? Finish, Blue or Parkerized?

I have one. I can't tell you about the parts but I can tell you it's GI Spec (unlike Universal) and that I've only shot it at an indoor range with a 25 yard yard max distance. The target was just me plinking away with the iron sights while standing and offhand. It was before I did any sighting in. I have no idea how it will bench rest. I have three GI magazines that have functioned perfectly over 200 + rounds. The mag that came with it was defective and had to be returned. They were pretty fast and friendly helping out with that.
Friends turn their noses up at it, telling me I should have gotten a "real" M1 carbine. But, this one shoots fine and has been reliable, fun, and has a warranty.
I took the original birch stock (bottom) off when a friend offered me a GI stock. I like the GI stock better and folks who see (and shoot) it think at first it's not a replica.
