Greetings folks.

Thanks to the advice and assistance to people on this board, I'm starting the purchasing on my 'wannabe' sniper rifle. :) The rifle is a Savage 10FP in .308 (from Wallyworld, no less). I'm going to be mounting a Super Sniper 10X42M scope on it, and a Harris model 'L' bipod. The next question is the mount and rings.

I want to put a 20 MOA base on with the rings. I've seen some good things said on other boards regarding Badger Ordance, but I can't afford $150 for the rings and another $150 for the base! :what:

I'm hoping to spend $100-$125 for the rings and base. Best quality for the price. Suggestions on where to buy, and any other help would be appreciated!

I am in the same boat. I am looking for rings and 20moa base for my LTR. It's my first bolt gun and first fling with longer range shooting. I am also looking for a 10X SS.
I think the best place to buy is off the gunboards. The price range you want the only new setup that is in that range is TPS rings and base. But, all the places I have checked for TPS stuff are on back order. So I have been watching the boards. Snipershide.com is a good one, as well as AR15.com.
This is a slow way to do it, but it gets you a good price. I finally got sick of looking and posted a WTB ad for base and rings. Immediately got 2 replies. So I now have a set of IOR rings on the way.
Good luck

Thanks kindly, BucksDC. I'll take a look this evening. Anyone have any experience with TPS?
