b4 you all say anything neg about my aim, the missed"" shots are from a .22lr rifle (uptop) that were shot at the little guys and the squares to see how badly calibrated the scope was. little hole=22 big holes=.40.
and the scope is too high, but it is not mounted(notice the screw)

Welcome, and nice collection.
That video was interesting, but the lock and external safeties are deal breakers for me on the taurus.

Welcome! I also wanted to ask about that 24/7. They make a big deal of the trigger, but I really can't really see how it differs from any other SA/DA auto. How's the accuracy?

lol maybe while I was stationed close to ar, I am now in Miami, you drive over here we go shooting!... I drove from el paso tx to miami when I ETSd from the army 6 months ago, hated the drive.

the 24/7 shoots as good as my glock, the trigger gets some getting used to but I like it... the paper target (big holes) werer shot with the taurus at roughly 20 meters, good enough for me at 60 ft
great gun, carrying it as I type now.

I don't see a good revolver in there either, Or a Smith Semi-auto... what's up with that?

and welcome to THR...

Edited to add: how do ya like the Savage? I bought a MK2 in .17 Mach2 a while back, and after a little polishing on the face of the trigger sear, whatta gun it is... I love mine...

I also have the same little Savage Mark II - so far I have never had a problem with it, great little pea shooter.

I was not impressed with the iron sights - no amount of adjustment could get them to shoot anywere near the target.

So I tossed on the cheasy little scope and got over it - for $90 I cant complain. I could put a nicer scope on it but for fun plinking there isnt much since.

ive been on a bunch of sites, and this one and maybe the firearms forum, have probably some of the best guys out there, former military and the like here, but dont act like a bunch of Chairborne Strangers, with their ar's and sog knives stuck up their behinds, to keep their backs ramrod straight, as they belittle you for how little you know. some of the other sites out there make me embarrassed to be former military. this here is a good one.
by the way , im a huge saiga fan, and i understand the Taurus 24/7 is one of the most comfortable fireing guns out there. what is your opinion?

On the subject of ARFcom... I just quit going. I tend to lurk and search for most of my answers. The attitude over there toward legitimate questions was unbelievable. Seems to be a lot of know it alls there.

The folks here have been nothing short of helpful and friendly. I've even made a few trades on the classifieds that have all been superlative. I've found here and Sigforum to be the best boards on the net!

I've shot the 24/7 (9mm) and like it a lot. Actually fits my pethetically small hands real well. Great photo. Add a revolver and you're set to go.

Welcome. Pull up a chair. Sit on the floor.

If you have questions. We'll have an answer.

From time to time the answer may actually match up with the question, but don't count on it.

Before you get jumped by the mods, remember that most negative references to other boards will bring repremand or censure

Remember what Thumper the Rabbit said "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all"

Refrain from personal attacks, bad language, and non-factual information and you'll have a great time here

Is it just me, or do these pictures drive anyone else crazy? That pistol should be pointing the other direction, like the rest of them... AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

I'm turning into Monk or something... But that's just strange to look at... It's like I want to reach in and turn the gun around. Strange

...... Welcome to THR :)

ok to try to address all the ?s and comments....

1. the taurus is great, shoot incredibly good, best grip and features out many more expensive guns out there and 0 probs so far! 8 friends of mine have bought one just by playing with mine and falling in love with it.

2.The savagearms is a cheap rifle, but amazes me at how accurate i can shoot, I shot an empty .223 shell on top of a wooden pallet at 100 yards! (with the scope ovbiously)

3.So far great responses, a lot better than my previously visited board( don't want to upset any ar15.com lovers or perhaps members?:what: ) it's just that you can't really seem to get a non-smarta55ed answer there.

4.As far as missing the revolver I work with a 38 spcl everyday....dade county issues one to me for my post.

5.I will take another pic for you with the beretta pointed like others:D ....lol nahh I'm too lazy, can anyone photoshop it b4 he hurts him self out of desperation...lol j\k.

Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! ARF.com has some really really good info(as does this site) but I got the same vibe you did, posted once and now only go their to use the "search" function. I dont do that much even anyway. I was here at HighRoad before I started to check out ARF.com so I guess I was spoiled. Most everyone here is great and very helpful. Enjoy! Nice collection byt he way!
