A Framingham man arrested in May on gun charges after police found an exact tattoo of the weapon, down to the serial number, on his hip was sentenced to five years in prison after he pleaded guilty to 10 charges.
Justin Breakspear, 20, of Framingham, will be on probation for 10 years after his release from MCI-Cedar Junction, said to the Middlesex District Attorney’s office.
Breakspear originally pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in Middlesex Superior Court on July 19, but changed his plea to guilty on all charges. He pleaded guilty to two counts of the illegal possession of a machine gun, second offense, two counts of illegal possession of a firearm without an FID card and two counts of improper storage of a large capacity firearm.
Breakspear also pleaded guilty to a second offense of carrying a gun without a license, defacing a firearm’s serial number and the illegal possession of marijuana.
At first he denied the guns were his, but the tattoo convinced police otherwise.

 Another brilliant criminal at work.

hahaha,

I say he may have had reasonable doubt until he tatooed the SERIAL NUMBER as well.

Hey,never let it be said again that some Lorcin owners aren't just as fanatical about their chosen firearms as 1911 or Glock guys!

And just think - a century ago not a single thing he did would have been a crime.

lol.... what an idiot. At least get a tattoo of decent gun like a Sig, Glock, 1911, etc. that you can hope to trade up to later.

I smell a rat... That doesn't look like a machine-gun to me. Was it even a large capacity firearm (>10 round magazine). Seems like that idiot is being run up without decent representation for crimes he may not even have committed. Were there other guns involved? As usual the article leaves much to be desired. Wish The Smoking Gun had the dirt on this.

I am all for prosecuting actual crimes, but this is a bit much. He will be back on the streets in a few months anyway, why further corrupt the Mass legal system?

How long before some bank robber tries the same thing?

I read that he was arrested with 2 too short shotguns and the .380 pistol so I have no idea where the machinegun charges came from or if there was some mis-communication or bad reporting:confused:

It appears that the two machine gun charges are the charges he received for the 2 sawed off shotguns. Other stories I head don't mention "machine guns" but say 2 counts of possessing a sawed off shotgun.

Another great "victory" in the War on (some) Drugs.

Funny it doesn't mention if he assaulted someone or otherwise threatened them with any of the guns.:scrutiny:
