Bear Tracker has been loading 40 grains of Goex 3r over a wonderwad/141 grain ball. I didn't have wonder wads and no Goex on the trip but I did clock it with Goex and Pyrodex P with Grease over the Ball.

Pyrodex P Velocity 1125 Spread 35 (6)

This Remington generally does record high velocities compared to various 1860 Armies and a Pietta Remington. I cleaned the bore after every cylinder full before clocking different loads. I fired several full cylinders and never needed to clean the base pin, cylinder window or breach surfaces. Function was perfect and smooth. This one handles caps as well as a colt as long as you cock it angled downward.

Mec, Thanks for that report! That gives me a good idea of what I'm getting from this Remington. I know not all gun's are going to give the same report or ballistics but it does give me a good idea.
As you know I no longer use wads or grease over the ball so these figures that you came up with are probably close to what I would would get with my Pyrodex"P". Thanks again Mec for another great report and info, Mike
