I'm looking to put a red dot sight on a S&W 627 3" V-comp. Other red dot sights may be too big (read: too close to the end of the barrel), and I thought a doctersight might work. I've seen the Optimas (now out of production). So, thought I might put a weaver mount on top of the 627 and purchase a doctersight. Any comments or suggestions?
