This article:Moore Boo-Hoos Over Tape (http://www.pagesix.com/seven/04172003/pagesix/34226.htm) was mentioned on a local radio station's web site this morning.

To be fair, I must say that I went to both Moore's website and the Movie's site, and didn't see any mention of this. A quick internet search turned up This Web Site (http://www.lisarein.com/michaelmoore/michaelmoorecompare.html), which seems to be the source of the quotes from the PageSix article. It's also mentioned here (http://www.onlisareinsradar.com/archives/001233.php). Regardless, it reminds me of a great line from "Friends" several years ago: "Hello, Kettle? This is the pot . . . you're black."

Anyone who has the nerve to say something like ". . . here we have a clear and shocking example of unethical behavior through manipulation of a historic event" in an attempt to defend Moore's fiction-laced "documentary" is the front-runner for the "greatest hypocrisy in defense of a bed-wetting liberal" award.

That is laugh-out-loud high-larious. How low will that sorry, lying, sniveling fool sink?

(I propose that the above is within permissible bounds for personal attacks. He does snivel, and he does lie, and if we were to believe that he sincerely believes what he said in that article, we'd be forced to conclude that he's a fool.)

I watched him give his speech live, by the way. Unless ABC also manipulated the audio in the live broadcast, it was the opposite of what he claims. There was some cheering up front when he started. About the time he was ranting about "the fictition of duct tape"* the boos began in the back and quickly overpowered those who cheered. Never again did the cheering sound nearly as loud as the boos, and then they shooed him off the stage with cue music. But why does any of this surprise me? The man is a professional liar. He is not an "opponent." He is not someone with whom I "disagree." He is a shameless and witless liar and a coward to boot.**

*That's not a typo--that's what the liar actually said. He cleans it up in his transcript, but he said "the fictition of duct tape." I wouldn't normally mention this sort of petty stuff, but sauce for the Bush-hating unwashed idiot, I say.

And the best thing Dubya could do if he runs into Mikey Moore in a social situation is laugh at him.

Fools cannot contenance(stand, for those who like simpler words) to be made into fools.

What Micky Moore did after accepting that undeserved award in no way, shape, or form resembles a speech. It was a temper tantrum by somebody who obviously never mentaly matured past the age of 10.
Normally, I wouldn't have a problem with the likes of this guy, but in this case, the "power" (for want of a better word) of his message is all out of proportion to the thought put into it.
