Well what can I say, I WANT ONE! However several problems pop up in my mind.

1) Would it be more cost effective to buy one or convert from an AK?

2) If conversion where would be a good place to get the parts?

3) What are th price ranges for parts or whole units?

4) If conversion what AK should be used?

5) Why have I never seen a 75 rnd drum for less than $100?

I can't imagine converting an already built AK would be more cost effective than buying one, but I guess it depends on who you buy from. AIM has Century built RPK clones for $499.95, which seems like a good price. Arsenal's RPK clones have an MSRP of $1250. Now I realize that Arsenal and Century produce products with very different levels of quality. If you are okay buying an Century made AK then I would say that just buying one of those would probably cheaper than having one built.
