Kel-tec Sub 2000 question

Hey everyone,

I just recently bought a light/laser mount for my kel-tec sub 2000. I dont have any rails on it yet, so i decided to attach the mount to the reciever tube of my kel tec. (the part that houses the spring and charging lever) Since it is about the same diameter as a scope, I used the attachment that would allow the laser/light to be attached to a rifle scope.

So far, it appears fine. The laser is off to the right a tad, however, I intend on using it for HD, and all I need is quick target acquisition.

My only concern is the fact that the mount is attached to the reciever tube. Will this harm the gun in anyway? Will it affect performance? Will shots loosen the attachment?

Thanks for any input.

my fried had a simmialr rig on his sub 2000. It does not affect the rifle at all the only concern is to make sure you have it tight. He kept loosing zero because it would shift under recoil. he tightened it up and hasnt had any major problems, so i think its safe

How do you like the gun? I've been thinking of buying one since my Glock 9mm mags will fit. Range Report?

I almost got one, but read that U can't shoot it w/ earmuff type hearing protection and use the sights at the same time.

I have had my S2K (g19 grip) for a couple of years now. Great plinker. Paper plate accurate at 25yds, man size accurate at 75-100yds. Past 100 yds accuracy drops off fast. Easy to shoot, even easier to clean. Virtually no recoil even with +P ammo.

BTW-No issue wearing muffs and using sights.
