My G2 quit working a while back and I just now got to change the bulb (P60 lamp assembly in case your wondering). And it still doesn't work.......I don't know why....Is it possible that I bought a bad bulb? The batteries are just fine....I tested them and I cleaned the G2 out and and everything. The tailcap switch works just fine to. I put the batteries in in and turned the tailcap switch down tight and put the batteries in through the front and hooked it up to an LED and the LED lights up just fine.......So is it possible that I have 2 bad lamp assemblies on my hands?

I was well pleased with the customer service when I called Surefire with a problem. They have a lifetime warranty.
My aviator started dimming then went out. changed batteries and worked OK for a bit then same thing happened. huh? I called SF thinking it was a digital circuitry bug. The tech said "you got a bad lamp, we'll send you a new one". No, says I. Whoever heard of a lamp acting like that? Just try it, he says, and send it in if it doesn't fix it. Works perfect ever since.

I got it figured out....it was the batteries...they were so weak that they weren't sending enough power to the lamp to even make it produce even a dimmer amount of light....thanks for the help!!
