There is a store in Bell, CA called Western Auto. They sell everything including guns. The guns they sell though are over priced (over $300 for a new ruger 10/22) and most of the new auto hand guns are so overly pimped that you wouldn't believe it. The customer base around here is the mexican gangbangers and homeboys so you can only imagine what they sell.

One of my buddies has a pimped out 1911 (nickel, goldtones, etc) and I never cease to give him a hard time since it Jams EVERY time he takes it to the range. But, it is pimptastic.

While in Iraq a friend of mine in Bravo company came across a goldplated Tompson submachine gun. I never got to shoot it but I did get to handle it, it seemed fine except for the "pimped out" look. I also ran across a MI guy who was authorized to carry a captured chrome plated 1911. I could only guess it ended up there as a part of the Iran Contra affair and was later pimped out by some Iraqi thug. Those are the only pimped out guns I've seen. I think you'd be liable to get slapped showing off guns like that at any off the ranges I go to.
