Has anyone ever "did it thier self " gold inlay? Brownells sells a few different set ups?

I have a S&W 1000, and for an odd ball shot gun, I like her, there is alot of engraveing on the reciever and I was wondering if anyone had ever filled thier own before? I found one other site were they charged $40 to fill engraveing on shot gun recievers. I'll attach pictures

I did a Rem 58 some years back. Got the gold stuff from Brownells. Easy as pie if you follow instructions. Will take about and hour or so. Spruced up the 59 quite well.
