Janeane Garafalo (Or however you spell her silly name)

Anyway, she was on the news last night and was asked, "Well, you said if you were wrong about the war, you would be the first to go to the White House and apologize. You even said you would take a fruit cake. It now appears that you WERE wrong regarding the war. Are you going to go apologize"? Her reply was, "No, I don't feel that I should go and apologize because I don't think this war went very well at all". Wonder what she thinks a REALLY good war would entail?
Us losing=democratic liberals winning, perhaps? :) She's very dumb. Tries to play like she's smart, but she's very dim bulb. She, like Baldwin, Sarandin, Robbins, and O'Donut, just showed their "Alphas" on telvision for all to see. And, there's no way to take that back but (What was clinton's theory~oh yeah) to deny, deny, deny.:D

Any publicity is good publicity for these out-of-work has beens. What makes it funny is that I doubt they really have any real convictions at all. Just trying to srcounge up some work to feed their inflated ego. I really think the generqal public knows this and only watch them for the entertainment factor.

Garofalo did, however, promise that if she is proven wrong and Iraqis welcome U.S. troops who find stores of weapons of mass destruction, “I will go to the White House on my knees on cut glass and say, 'hey, you were right, I shouldn’t have doubted you.'” But, she quickly added, “I think to think that is preposterous.”

Leftists are moral and intellectual parasites—and shameless anti-Americans into the bargain.

It seems the excuses are already running rampant among the Hollywood types. Guess what, it's all our stupid fault! Surprised?
According to them, what is happening to their careers and popularity is "economic censorship" and they equate that with McCarthyism.
The difference is ... one is a normal reaction of free choice by folks like you and me and the other was government sanctioned censorship.
They feel they get to spout their point of view, whether you want to hear it or not at the concert etc. and not bear any consequences.
I think they all hoped to be seen as the leaders of a great, world wide anti war movement and that they would be applauded for their far seeing, one world order "Clintonesque" point of view. Now, instead of being heroes, they are goats and they are getting angry about it. "How dare you people not buy my album or see my movie! It's my right to speak freely. " Yup it is and I don't see anybody stopping you, and it's our right to walk away from you while you speak.
The truth is they really misread the tone and tenor of the American people on these issues in a major way. Instead of watching what people really thought, they believed their publicist about how great and insightful they really were.
Rant!
Hey! Wake up you Hollywood dummies, we are the common folk that buy your album, see your movie or go to your concerts. If we feel that you don't share our values we will go elsewhere and so will out Mastercards. For reference see "Woody Allen, career, former" or Alec Baldwin, a true hero of the left that can't get arrested in Hollywood lately. We are the box office and we don't like you any more! So there, now deal with it in your future in "B" movies.
PS: Jeanene?, I never thought you were funny in the first place. Go join Ellen in the line of unfunny poeople that don't have a TV series anymore.
Sorry guys, I just had to vent that.

I thought "The Truth about Cats and Dogs" was sort of cute and good light entertainment. I've never seen anything else this dingbat did that I remotely liked.

Kentucky,
I think you zeroed in on what underlies it all: A self-loathing that manifests itself as America-loathing and a secret wish for America to get its nose bloodied. I know more than one liberal--I hesitate to call them friends any more--who has told me--the words vary but the sentiment's the same--about wishing that America would be "humbled" or that "a lot of other countries would get together and give this country its comeuppance." They hate anything that looks like American strength and to them Bush personifies that. There is nowhere to go with people like this. We dignify their dysfunctionality by calling it political opinion.

The lady is singing the Hollywood party line. She wants a gig and is willing to tell her power structure anything they want to hear.
Principal? What principal? We're talkin' money here.

Bravo! Bravo! Author! Author!:D
Yes, by all means, speak freely, show your true self. But don't whine about it when the ramifications for your actions begin.
Heck - I'd like to spout off at a few people at work over a public address system - I'd get canned - but everyone would know just how I felt. Spout your views anyway you can or wish in this fabulous free country - Expose your real contempt for freedom by getting angry when people don't agree with you and decide not to be you ever adoring fan.

She should shut her suckhole. These libs forget that free speech is a two-way street. They controlled the media for so long, no one was able to argue against their message. With the advent of conservative radio and the cable nets, they no longer have a monopoly on the news media. Isn't it also funny they are all so butt-ugly?? Had they any sort of social life growing up, they wouldn't be filled with such self-loathing. They'd have some self-esteem and wouldn't need to run around ranting and raving screaming "look at me, look at me..". Silly and pathetic. I say we put 'em to the sword. :barf: :cuss:
