I am just a plinker. Im not LEO or anything so Im not looking to spend hundreds on a red dot. I have been looking and looking and like the looks of this one. Does anyone know about this? Any other nice inexpensive red dot sights?

A red dot on and for what? There are many out that aren't even good paperweights. The scope that will work fine on a rimfire or smaller pistol caliber would be broken quickly by a centerfire rifle, magnum pistol or shotgun. About the best I've come across that is just about a universal fit is Millett SP series red dot. They have 1" or 30mm bodies, a range of dot sizes and I haven't been able to break one yet. Even using a M1a which is known for being HARD on scopes. Price isn't bad either being right around $100 new. You can find them for much less used and I would call them a very safe buy as used stuff goes.

Any links to that millet?
It would be for a hi-point with a advance technology stock. Nothing special really

haha hell even if I could afford the $250 of a holosight I doubt If buy one. I just like the looks.
A couple other sights Id like info on:
Baraska Electro Sight
http://www.riflescopes.com/products/AC10632/barska_1x_electro_sight.htm
Here is another "maker" of that exact same scope. Be warned, these sights are China made garbage. From what I gather they were once made in Japan and then the factory moved to China.
or are those all crap too? I would lov to get a holosight or something. I just dont have $200 to drop on a sight. Id get a flip up iron sight before spending that much on a red dot. Im just a plinker after all.
Would this yankee hill stand up sight work with the normal M4 front sight?

Dude where did you get the advance techlongy stock?! I would buy a highpoint in a heartbeat if I could just get that stock. Otherwise, eh...
For a cheap red dot take a look at these, http://www.kalinkaoptics.com
The people who have used them over at http://www.surplusrifle.com highly like them and are well respected.
I plan on getting one of there red dots for my sks as soon as I get the money.

hmm looks like a good product. I guess its down to that, a fixed iron sight or one of these:
can anyone vouch for those? Oh and does anyone know if a yankee hill stand up sight work with the normal AR front sight? Because Id consider just an iron sight. I like red dots but this is just a plinker so since the dont have to perform, looks are important too. I dont know how much I like that kalinka's looks but if it works... If those 3 I listed above are good Id probably go with that over an iron sight. But at least with the yankee hill iron sight I wouldnt have to buy batteries or anything.
I dont have the ATI stock. I dont even have a hi-point. I was considering buying one but now I am thinking more about a flat-top AR.
