Was just at my local Sam's Club (Rochester, MN) and they had a 2 pack of xenon bulb flash lights on clearance. Not sure what the original price was but the clearance price 11.81 for a pair of lights. And they came with the CR123 batteries for both lights. The lights have aluminum housings and claim 80 lumens. The brand name is Cyclops. Just thought I would give the members here that are looking for an inexpensive light a heads up.

I am not sure if it would take being used as a weapon light or not but its cheap enough to play around with and be considered nearly disposable.

YOu're not going to believe this but I bought 4 packs of these lights and gave them away as Christmas presents. I went back later on and picked up one more pack for myself. These work excellent.

I gave one to a good friend who is an investigator with a large Sheriff's department here in SC and he said he's shoot the first sticky-fingered SOB who tries to walk off or borrow his light.

Excellent quality and reliability.

I've been picking up some cheap LED lights...here are a few of my favorite ones:

Meritline.com 9 LED Flashlight (http://www.meritline.com/9-led--flashlight-battery-included-08871.html) Cost: $6.99

Panther LE6 (6 LED Flashlight) (http://thewritersedge.com/visit.cfm?e=new.menu&exp=gadgets&a=gadgets.pantherLE6) Cost: $11.95

Both are great for the money. Of course the 9 LED one is a better buy and comes in different colors.
