I'm glad that at least one Democrat acknowledges what everyone else has known for years. Hopefully more of them will come forward.
The first step is realizing that YOU are the problem, Mr. Reid.:)

You could put that poster next to just about any congress-critter.
But from what little I know about Michigan politics, that is especially proper for Sen Stab-me-now.

Reader, suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But I repeat myself. – Mark Twain

Actually, I believe it extends to the entire administration, referring to Katrina response criticism, the UAE ports deal, the Libby indictment, Harriet Miers nomination, etc....anything to exact revenge upon Karl Rove being instrumental in defeating the Democrats.
This display is the ultimate demonstration of why Congress is in low regard. Speaking for myself, I expect some decorum and at least a facade of a dignified effort to do what is best for the country.
To me, direct attacks on the President and hostility to Cabinet members during Committee hearings are inexcusable. I don't appreciate rhetoric, but I do appreciate and expect cooperation between the Congress and the administration. This image shows that the Democrats are just plain mean, over the edge in expressing outrage at being defeated in past elections.

Seriously, I remember when Senators, at least, had some kind of class. Guys like Sam Irvin and Everett Dirksen, for two bipartisan choices.
Now we have the Move-on brigade and the RINOs. What a load.

Hehehe...
I think there is genuine concern about the administration's course among a wide circle of people regardless of their party affiliation. The unwillingness to address those concerns in a proper manner and to change course when confronted with objective realities, are a sure way to further alienate one's base and gift 2006 and 2008 to the other side. Or, has that been the goal all along? ...;)
