are they reloadable???

a non reloading friend gave me several hundred brass/plastic hulls today.the headstamp reads-PCA O4 223 REM.they are gray plastic 3/4's the way down.only the last 1/4 of the head is brass.they look to be boxer primed.are they reloadable?

Right now...NO. Eventually, the company that manufactures them plans to sell pre-loaded plastic "uppers" with bullets already seated. All you would have to do is charge and reconnect the two pieces (brass and plastic).

BTW, PCA stands for Polymer Cased Ammunition. The polymer case saves a bunch of weight but not much else. Accuracy out of a Mini-14 (1-2") and AR (sub MOA) were decent. I also tried my hardest to cook one off or melt the case but I couldn't. I fired nearly 100 rounds from my Mini with hi-cap mags before chambering one and leaving it there for 20 minutes. The case, while more pliable than usual, had no other ill effects from the temperature.
