Is it possible to date an H & R Model 999 Sportsman?
Thanks

I'd recommend against it. I tried dating a revolver once. We just wound up going around in circles.

I knew I'd see a joke when I saw the title - but that was better than I expected. How long have you been holding on to that one?

Thank you for the information JohnBT. I have my late Fathers LNIB Sportsman serial# R57XXX. Now at least I can say what year it was made as I pass it down in the family. It was the first firearm I ever fired as a young lad!
