I took my newest addition to the family to the range this afternoon, and fed him 150 rounds of 230 gr PMC.

Flawless performance, and is much easier to use than the Steyr M pistols i have. it has meprolight night sites that line up nicely on target. at 7 yards, what i aim at, i hit....provided of course i dont flinch or make some other stupid mistake which i am prone to do.

My groups tightened up the faster i manipulated the trigger, waiting just long enough for the front sight to reset itself. One group of five shots walked horizontally left to right, overlapping each other, over approx 2-2.5 inches.

I took a buddy out with me, and he is green when shooting handguns and really, anything over a .22lr, his youth shows in his trying to take shots as fast as possible and not ever hitting the center of any target. He put a couple mags of .45 through the Kimber and didnt hit a ShootNSee target once. I gave him a suggestion on his grip, to hold tighter with the weak hand than the strong hand and his first shot made it on the target. So he tries to go back to how he was first shooting and hits nothing. Tries my suggestion again, and presto! another hit on the shootnsee!

was even funnier when i put a round from my M9 into his ten ring that he never hit. I put a couple hundred rounds through the M9 as well, and I think i'm finally figuring out how those trapezoidal sights really work. typically my shots go left, so i think i am anticipating the recoil and pushing with my strong hand when the trigger breaks. but with careful concentration and a proper grip, i can put the shots in nice groups.

I also put a couple hundred rounds through the Walther P22. I had put the largest front sight that came with it in the slide last time i cleaned it, and boy oh boy was that a mistake. Tried shooting at 7 yards and 20 yards. could not hit paper. Couldnt even hit the shootnsee target. Its fun to shoot, but I could never tell where the shots were going. I think i need to find different sights for it, they are really throwing me off.
