Another question, here goes.

I've recently aquired a fake suppressor for an M-11 and would like to mount it on my AR-15.

Why? Just because this is my fun gun AR so i'm entitled to play with it.

This company http://www.trosusa.com/ makes the thread adapters that do what i want.

I have this nagging feeling though that 9mm AR threads are different from 5.56 and so the adapter wont work.

Any ideas?

5.56 standard is 1/2x28, 9mm I don't know the standard. some people get their AR's threaded 1/2x28 as well, lots of places don't like to though due to using the wrong flash hider on the wrong barrel.

Ok, well if thats the case it looks like the 1/2-28 to 3/4-10 thread adapter will work out nicely.

According to the sight a 9mm ARs threads are 1/2-26.

Someone please correct me if i'm wrong. I'd hate to drop 60$ on the thing and be stuck with it.
