Just found this over on RimfireCentral.com. A fellow cut up a 10/22 barrel, thoroughly cleaned and degreased the section, lubed 'em up with a variety of products and let them set for three months in the salty and humid NC air. That is a neat study, but I have to admit I've never used, wouldn't use, or even heard of some the products. Not to say it may not be useful to other folks, just not me. Thanks for sharing none-the-less.:)

keep in mind all this really tested is rust corrosion prevention, not lubrication abilities.

Neat test. I would liked to have seen some RIG in there though since he was testing rust preventatives.
