This was given to me by my grandfather who brought it back as a souvenier in WWII. What can you tell me about it?
I'm pretty sure that saying on the blade translates to "All For Germany" am I correct?
Can anyone tell me what its worth? I would never even dream of selling it but still I'd like to know.
Any info would be highly appreciated.
thanks in advance,
-Jeff

It says "everything for Germany".
Yours appears to be a SA Stormtrooper dagger. Looks much like this one:

"Johnnyg" (http://www.johnnyg.westhost.com/daggers.html) Thinks it might be worth $550 to somebody.

Yeah...I'm pretty sure there's only ONE of those. Maybe we should ask Betty. I'm not so sure about that though. It just might send her off into one of those, "He's mine MINE MINE! Ya HEAR?! MINE"! modes where she has to be sedated.:D
By the way. A friend called me a couple of months ago and said the old lady who lives across the street had given him a Nazi knife. (He cuts her grass and runs errands for her, etc...) He described the knife with kinda silver decorations and an ivory handle with ridges that kinda swerve downward, round and round. I think he said it had a pommel on top. Anyone know anything about this one? (Anyone know what I'm trying to describe?) Sorry, I can't remember any more detail except that he said the knife was in quite good condition.

Another translation of the inscription is "All for Germany." It was worn by all ranks of the SA from 1934 onward.
