Odd AR-15 question....

What height [top to bottom] is the hammer, what height [top to bottom] is the trigger, and what height [top to bottom] is the FCG [hammer, trigger, disconnector] in their proper positions?

How about width for the hammer/disconnector/trigger?


Can you tell I'm making a SA rifle and I'm thinking of using an AR-15 FCG? :D

Yep, guess not... I had to just guesstimate how much material I'll need to play around with. 2.500" seems like a safe bet, going by a few pictures and the blueprints to the lower itself.

TR, I might suggest spending the $40 or so and go ahead and buy a trigger group. That way you could play with pin positioning layouts, and not be so dependent on drawings.

I already bought the FCG - it'll be here Monday or Tuesday. I'm just so excited about drawing up the measurements from them that I wanted some idea. I can be patient.... I think! :D :D
