I just got back from my first CMP match! 10 rounds at 4 stages at 300 yards, prone slow, prone rapid fire, seated slow, standing slow. Shot a 236, which I was told wasn't bad for a first time (and not to bad considering I was shooting a Garand that I'd never shot before). We pulled targets after our round was finished and even that was fun. I may be hooked!
