Just a happy customer.

I ordered a case of ammo from them. It shipped quickly. Somewhere along the way, someone dropped the box. It was a bit damaged on the outside and some of the plastic pieces inside the individual 50rnd boxes were busted. Nothing major, just a small problem. Not even enough for me to complain.

So, a few days later I get an email from Sportsman's Guide asking for my input. I give it. I tell them I was generally happy, but clearly the shipper dropped the box, but nothing seriously damaged. I also made some comments about product availability and such.

A few more days go by, I get a response from someone who actually read and though about my email! They gave me a $10 off coupon for my next order for the "damaged" boxes, but more importantly, they made me feel they actualy considered what I wrote for a bit.

Yeah, dealt with stuff like that when I was working at the hospital. Someone was unhappy with the food or housekeeping or some such, they would recieve a gift coupon or some such as renumeration. The coupon itself isnt all that great, but what it means is that someone they complained to, told their boss who told the next boss who took care of it. So really the coupon means that someone not only paid attention, but then took the time to take it to the next level. Its a good thing to see happen or have happen to you.

my latest SG purchase was perfect, but I have had a lot of follies in the past. Maybe they are getting better.
