Just something I found while browsing elsewhere.
A briefcase that can be operated via remote control to emit either a 107dB alarm and/or a 80,000 volt shock rendering the case retrievable from any thief.
A very interesting item, although I think 899 Euros is a bit expensive, maybe this should be a DIY project?

The most obvious way to get that kind of voltage is with a capacitor. These are a dime a dozen, but the most obvious source is in a disposable camera, where all the electronics are already in place for charging and discharging it. Just replace the flash with wires running to the handle.

How do we set up the remote control?

I suppose one can find a garage door opener or remote car lock system on e-bay. Connect this to the camera button.

Done!

What did that put us back? a briefcase $40; camera $3; remote $50 = $93!
