The 140g hornday sp has worked quite well for me. Never found the 129g to be quite as accurate. Performance has been quite terminal and consistent most don't make it over 20 yards or less.Tired some 120 ballistic tips was not impressed and tried 125g nosler partitions they were impressive on game but not the most accurate. Settled on 140g as being able to handle any game encountered.
Hope it helps

My standard whitetail load in .260 Rem is a 125-grain Nosler Partition at 2700 fps. It's been responsible for a number of one-shot quick kills. With a top of the heart shot, the deer either fall in their tracks or run less than 30 yards.
