your status!

since this forum is so new how on earth can there be 'new members' and 'senior members' surely we should all be 'new members'

I believe that after 30 or so posts you become a "member". After a hundred posts you become a senior member.

and there lies one of the quirks...your status isn't based on how long you've been around, but on your total number of posts. I believe the magic number is 100 to achieve 'senior member' status.

40 makes you a Member. 100 makes you a Senior Member. Threads like this let you pad your post count while seeming to provide important information to the Noobs. :neener:

Works that way on most of the boards whether they are vbulletin or UBB each level is set by the number of posts which is pre determined by the boards administrators keep posting You will get their eventually:)
