I have more holsters than Carter has liver pills however, I don't have one certain style and am not sure what to call the style. Below are two different belt holster, the top one is a pancake style, the other one is the one I am inquiring about.

What is the difference in how these feel, how they ride, etc. I can't find the bottom type locally to try on and judge for myself. Any advantages to one over the other that you all have noticed? Things you like about one over the other?

I just picked Galco for the pics, could be any brand. Thanks!

Marshall,
The holster style pictured is the Bruce Nelson style, currently being made and sold by Milt Sparks/Tony Kanaley (55BN), Lou Alessi (DOJ), and Josh Bulman (SDS) among others. I have two of the 55BN holsters from Tony and am expecting a third one any day now. It is my favorite holster style.

Good shooting and be safe.
