This 12 oz. marvel is sooo much lighter than my steel J frames that there must be some ankle holsters out there that are designed with the reduced weight (and internal hammer) in mind. I've searched the threads but haven't found this question.
Can anyone suggest good ankle holsters for a lightweight snubby? Approx. prices and links would be appreciated. Thank you.

Before you spend money on one of the uncle Lui’s masterpieces, see if you can borrow any ankle holster and try it out. For me, an ankle holster was too hard to reach. I settled on a pocket holster.

I've had a Cobra Gunskin ankle holster for years, so I know I like ankle holsters, primarily for while seated (car, office, etc.). But it has an over-the-hammer thumbreak strap which doesn't exactly fit the hammerless J-frames.
I've heard the Renegade 500 is pretty good and mid-priced at $50 + $7 s/h direct from manufacturer, and that it's better than Uncle Mike's and much cheaper than Alessi but as good or nearly as good. Any thoughts?

I'll second the recommendation for a Lou Alessi Ankle rig. I have one for a Glock 19 and it is the highest quality and most comfortable ankle holster I've ever used.
It is not an inexpensive holster by any means. I like the weapon being retained in the holster without additional snaps and straps that most other makers use.

The Ross Leather Co. makes an ankle holster specifically designed for hammerless, "J" frame revolvers. It is nicely padded and I've found it to be a comfortable and secure ride.
As for an ankle holster being "too hard to reach", well, of course it is!
