I've noticed that botach tactical has been pushing these hard, if you haven't seen them, go to www.botachtactical.com and check them out. They have them for $19.99 and several people I have talked to like them better than the Royal Robbins 5.11s that I love...

So, opinions? Pictures on people (I don't like ad pictures) or any comments would be nice...

They look like good quality pants. Think I'll order the navy one.

Look alot like the Royal Robbins 5.11s to me, but don't cost as much ($20 less). Material (8.5 ounce 100% cotton canvas) is the same. Pocket layout is different. I'm going to order a pair, just to see how I like them.

They definitely look interesting. I especially like the gussetted crotch.

My question: how roomy are they cut in the thighs? My RR's are a little tight in that region, though the waist is fine. Also, how large are the belt loops? I was looking into a wilderness belt for under my duty belt and would hate to find out I can't wear it.

I was just about to order some Propper BDU's for work, but would love something different. Let me know what you think of these when you get them. If they look like a good deal, I'll order a pair or two.

I recently bought 2 pairs. IMO, they are great; NOT some cheap knock-offs that I feared. I'm impressed!

How do they compare to the Royal Robbins? I love my Royal Robbins 5.11s, hate all other BDUs, so . . . are these as good?

Anyone find them elsewhere? I will not purchase from Bozak tactical...read way too much bad about them on the net...

G35, you could buy them directly from Sportif USA. Or they might be able to point you to some other distributors. Don

Ok, I lied.

I purchased them from Botach, and am very happy with the pants.

I learned a valuable lesson though...sometimes you SHOULD believe what you read on the internet.

I placed my order on 26 April 03, I received an e-mail confirmation the next day saying they got my order. It wasn't until on 15 May 03 (20 days later) I got an e-mail saying they were shipped, totally unsatisfactory to me. They arrived on 19 May 03.

I surely won't order anything I need from them in a hurry, and will likely not shop there in the future.

Onto the pants.

I like them a lot, and they are just what I envisioned. I don't have Royal Robbins to stack them up against, but I am happy with the Sportif pants.

I finally broke down and ordered a couple of sets of RR 5.11's.

I will say that I like both pants and their respective designs. The Sportif's are made of a similar material, but are a bit thicker I think.

I seem to prefer the Sportif's, because I like their pocket placement a bit more.

And at $19.99 they are a steal.

Anyone know if Botach still has them?

Holy crap... I didn't know that anyone still bought stuff from Botach. I think they are all like you, Glockster. "I've read nothing but bad stuff but I'll still give them a chance." I did the same thing and found the same thing: bad service! So, now I'm one of the people preaching "no Botach."

TechBrute,

I don't want to do business with them, but sometimes you gotta do whatcha gotta do.

They are a crappy company, with crappy service, and crappy business practices.

But I really like these Sportif pants (and have not been able to find them anywhere else).

PLEASE....STOP.....ME.....FROM.....PLACING......THE.....ORDER!

I looked on the Bo-crap website and couldn't find them. All that I could find were the cargo shorts.

Anyone know where else I can find these pants? I even looked at the Sportif site and had no luck.. By chance, are these called something else other than "911's"? :o

Not sure, maybe we need to go directly to Sportif to get more information.

Sportif 911s, Royal Robbins 5.11s....

Stay tuned for the Skunkabilly 211s (in progress...at the bank...)
It'll be made from Cordura and covered with PALS webbing. That's all I can say right now.

Skunkabilly,

Is this a joke or are you seriously having something made?

Connections in Korea made last year?
