I have a blued pistol that is in excellent mechanical condition but needs refinishing. Can anyone recommend a "like" blue finish that is highly corrosion, scratch, and wear resistant? If so, who do you know that can apply it?

No actual bluing is highly scratch and corrosion resistant. There is a product you can apply yourself that's extremely durable though, and it comes in "gun blue" as a color. Dura-Coat from Lauer. It's a 2 part spray that doesn't need baking. It's definately one of the most durable and rust resistant finishes I've discovered yet. http://www.lauerweaponry.com/
