Got a friend unloading a huge amount of guns. On the tacticle shotguns he has a Mossberg 12 ga. pump mod 500 persuader -riot gun in 18.5 barrel w/ pistol grip....and a Benelli MIS? 90 Tactical 8 shot 18.5.....

Which one should I buy from him?

Personally, I'd opt for the Benelli.

Ask yourself, are you a pump or semi sorta person? Since I'm a semi-guy AND a Benelli fan, my choice is simple.

Hold both, swing both, play with both then decide. Maybe even ask to take them out for a test drive.

Also, how much is he asking for both? If the price is right, make the decision even more easier...buy both!!!!! j/k

Being an owner of both (well, my Mossy is a 590), I'd say go with the one that you prefer in terms of auto vs pump. I'm an auto guy so my 590's been laying dormant for a while. If you run a search in this forum you'll find good discussions of the auto vs pump issue.

What's he asking for them? I'm guessing the Benelli would be at least twice as much as the Mossberg.
