Here is a pic of my 4" Redhawk 44mag, totally modified by Mag-na-port. Flawless work at a really good price.

For everything, it was about $500, 4 years ago:
-- cut barrel to 4",
-- remove lettering from barrel,
-- cut target crown,
-- cut standard ports (one port, each side),
-- put on Freedom Arms front sight,
-- fabulous trigger job (!!)
-- break all sharp corners,
-- chamfer front of cylinder,
-- frosted finish ("velvet hone")
