I once saw a picture which was for a magazine spread. The photographer had loaded the bullets backwards in the magazine. Athought the picture looked great.:)

A photog messin up is funny. An armorer doing a bad install on a tactical rifle of this type and price makes me question their quality control.

This was mentioned on several boards. From what I can understand the 556s shown at the Shot Show and for the promo photos were pulled together at the last minute, and are not necessarily indicative of the totality of what is actually going to be sold.

Despite being slapped together at the last minute, I would have guessed SIGARMS would have/should have used a competent in-house gunsmith who knows what each individual part of the gun does to assemble it.

Its a display piece not a production rifle.

I will reserve judgment of the QC for an actual production unit.

RE: the HK ad -- It's one thing for a photographer to take a the shot, but having been in the print business, it's amazing to me that no one caught that before it went to print. So much for proofing.
