Hi. I've heard some talk about a cartridge known as the ".45 Super," but I don't really know anything in particular about it. Could someone please fill me in?

btw, there is a round I know of which is a stretched .45ACP... is that the .45 Super I mentioned above?

Hmm, so you could perhaps say that the .45 Super is like a really hot 0.45ACP with a strengthened casing to cope. Sort of like a ++P++, so to speak. :p

Pretty much. Same external dimensions as .45 ACP, just a stronger case. .450 SMC is basically just the same thing, IIRC .45 Super uses a large primer and SMC uses a small one.
