Has anyone ever had any experience with these?

I wonder if they help at all or is it just a gimick?

Never heard of it. Interesting, but I hate the site layout. Anyway, I read almost all the way through the site until I got to the part where he describes how you use it to adjust your adjustable stock and how you can transfer measurements from the adjustable stock to a non-adjustable stock. Okay, but I don't have an adjustable stock. I can just see me in the gun store shouldering 50 to 100 shotguns (which is how I do it) and asking the guys if I can put this gizmo on every gun. I just don't know how it will go over.

I didn't see a price on the site and the order page was dead.

Take a look at Stock Fitting Secrets www.stockfitting.virtualave.net
I ordered the e-mail copy, printed out the 80-some pages and stuck it in an old 3-ring notebook. There's a lot of info in it, including some history, terminology, foot placement, and things to consider about shooting form. Lots of things to think about when it comes to finding a gun that fits you and the kind of shooting you're doing. So far I've learned that my guns fit pretty well, especially if I don't shoot them from a rifle stance like many Americans do.
