Hi all,
Another quiz about Winchester. In June of 1943 Winchester was having problems with extractors, as we know. However, there was another MAJOR problem with the June rifles that I find very odd. Do you know what it is?
Have fun
Thanks again
Clancy

Hi all,
The answer is:
Rifles lacked power and failed functional firing tests.

So what had caused the problem and how did they fix it?

Hi guys
The file on the problem does not cover what the cause was but to make a point in 1943 Winchester had to return 10 million dollars to Ordnance because of their 1943 work. Sorry but as you know many Ordnance files have been lost or destroyed over the years. If I don't have a Ordnance file on it I don't post on it. I have heard what the problem was but that's not proof.
Hope you understand
Thanks again
Clancy
