Just got off the phone from the office of my county STUPIDVISER.
Here in marvelous Marin county, the board of stupidvisers just
banned gun shows on county property.
The ASSistant I talked to (actually he started to argue) claimed
that all they did was ban guns and ammo on county property.
Kinda hard to have a gun show without guns!
I suggested that if they are so afraid of guns, that perhaps they
should not allow police to carry on county property!
He went on and on about how the stupidviser is a nurse
and has seen all kinds of gun injuries.I said"in Marin county"
and started laughing.I think we have maybe 1 or 2 a year!
Anyway enough of that, heres the question.
If law abiding citizens are prevented from gathering on public
property,is that discrimination?By this clowns own admission the county picks and chooses
who they will let on their(our?)property.
Sorry for the rant.I feel better now. :)
I keep telling myself that I will stay and fight these blissininnies,
but to be honest,I don't think I can hold out anymore.:banghead:
Somebody throw me a rope!:D

No. It's tyranny.

Actually, this guy's in California. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals just recently upheld a ban on gun shows.

He went on and on about how the stupidviser is a nurse
and has seen all kinds of gun injuries. So how many "kinds of automobile injuries" has this nurse seen?

How many more of those have they seen than firearms injuries?

How many maimed and dead children have they seen from each?

Automobiles, the acceptable killer.

Blunt force trauma, the acceptable death.

Actually, deaths caused by car crashes because of cell phones numbered 2400 last year, while in the year 2000 accidental deaths caused by guns was 600...

Also, It should also be noted that while the number of gun owners in America goes up, the number of accidents go down. So, since the only number I know was in the year 2000, and it's now 2003, it's possible the total number could be say, 500 to 599.
